Pax Autocratica Console Commands & Cheats: All IDs & Codes
How to enable the console, every cheat command, item spawn IDs, and safe sandbox usage.
Enabling the Console
Console commands are developer tools for testing, recovery, and sandbox experiments. They are not a public API and may change between patches — always verify on your live build and keep a clean backup save.
How to Enable
- Fully close the game.
- Steam Library → Pax Autocratica → Properties → General → Launch Options.
- Add:
-console -dev_mode - Launch, then press tilde (
~). Some layouts also useF1for the debug overlay.
Alternate path: %AppData%/LocalLow/Multiverse/PaxAutocratica/Config/ → open GameSettings.ini → set EnableDebugOverlay=True → save and restart.
Colony and Management Commands

Combat Commands

Spawn Item IDs
Syntax: spawn_item [ID] [amount]. Reported IDs include:
Res_CoreFragment, Res_IronOre, Res_Titanium_Plate, Res_Biomass_Alpha,
Res_DarkMatter, Scrap_Common, Item_Ration_Pack, Item_MedKit_Pro,
Wpn_AutoRifle_Mk1, Wpn_HeavyOrdnance
Copy IDs exactly — case and underscores matter.
Using Cheats Safely
Turning on every cheat at once removes the hybrid tension that makes the game interesting. Prefer selective use:
- Colony recovery:
add_credits,build_instant,clear_rubble - Weapon testing:
give_all_weapons,infinite_ammo,fly - Exploration:
god,fly, modestset_speed - Progression experiments: targeted
spawn_iteminstead of infinite everything
Using cheats may disable or invalidate some challenge goals depending on build. Treat console play as a separate sandbox from your serious campaign.
